Seeking Experienced Board Certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist or Advanced Practice Nurse for Diagnostic Evaluation and Medication Management
Cathedral Counseling Center, a private non-profit mental health agency located in downtown Chicago, seeks an experienced psychiatric advanced practice nurse to become a member of our multidisciplinary treatment team. Our APN will work in collaboration with our experienced psychotherapists to provide psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and pharmacologic treatment. All clients are required to be in concurrent psychotherapy.
Position is up to fifteen hours per week with a flexible schedule. We offer competitive compensation. Applicant must have their Illinois license, malpractice insurance and at least 3 years of experience in a psychiatric setting that includes prescriptive authority.
The position assumes a combination of weekly clinical work and participation in a warm and vivacious community of clinicians, with the opportunity for training and growth.

Applicants must have a minimum of six years post-graduate clinical experience and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the practice of psychotherapy with a diverse clientele and open to learning and participating in a community of colleagues.
Twelve clinical hours are required weekly, three of those during "prime time" (before 10 a.m., after 5 p.m. and Saturdays.) Chemical dependence, group and couple therapy experience are an advantage, as well as additional "prime time" availability. Therapists are independent contractors and must be licensed and carry malpractice insurance.
