Improv for Clinicians
Improv for Clinicians is led by a licensed therapist trained in improvisation. This class engages mental health clinicians in exercises that highlight improv skills that perfectly translate into creating a supportive, creative, open minded approach to therapy. This workshop focuses on patience, non-judgment, active listening, self awareness, collaboration with clients, and adapting in the moment.
In addition to learning through improv, clinicians are also provided improv exercises that can be used with clients in both individual and group settings. This program is also great opportunity to meet other clinicians and share techniques and best practices.
